Tortilla conveyor belts are made from PTFE-coated fabrics with modified surfaces. Aokai new material specializes in this area, boasting years of experience.

Flour tortilla presses operate using a moving conveyor belt on the bottom and a sliding or fixed top plate. Balls of dough are automatically dropped onto the surface of the bottom belt from a hopper, ensuring perfect placement for pressing into the familiar round, flat discs.

Color Preferences and Stock Material of PTFE tortilla belts

In the US market, tortilla belts are typically brown. However, in Europe, particularly in the UK, food-grade blue belts have become more popular. Our stock material for this application is PS025BLU, but we also offer special cast film surface products for Lawrence-type machines.
