PTFE Fabric
PTFE Fabric, or Teflon-coated fiberglass fabric, is a non-stick industrial fabric impregnated with PTFE on one or both sides made of glass fiber. All PTFE-coated materials combine Teflon coating and glass fiber cloth—advantages, including high resistance, non-stick, abrasion, chemical, and UV resistance.
As a leading PTFE Fabric supplier, Aokai offers PTFE-coated fiberglass fabric in different thicknesses; these Teflon fabrics are divided into avant grade, industrial grade, anti-static grade, porous grade, single-side covered grade, and Kevlar grade.
Aokai also offers PTFE-coated fiberglass mesh with different mesh sizes.
PTFE-coated fabrics are primarily used in applications requiring quick releases, dielectric strength, and chemical resistance, such as plastic film heat sealing, food baking, drying, grilling, mold making, non-stick conveyor belts, heat resistant gaskets, and Diaphragm, chemical resistant packaging.
The main features of PTFE Cloth are as follows:
- Withstands continuous high temperatures of 500°F (260°C)
- Easy release to all objects at high and low temperatures
- Chemical corrosion resistance to acids, solvents, and alkalis
- Provides extremely low elongation (<1%)
- Dimensionally stable fiberglass provides excellent durability
- High tensile strength, suitable for making conveyor belts
- Wear-resistant surface, low coefficient of friction
